I am going to break out of my usual baby "Avery" posting to ask everyone to put another baby in your prayers right now. Leslie delivered twins a few weeks back and Gabby is in NICU; you can follow her recovery on her blog Here. As anyone near and dear to our family knows how challenging it can be to carry twins both for the mother and babies. Lately Gabby has been in need of some very specific prayers. As you ring in the New Year this evening and in the coming week please say some prayers for healthy lung tissue, resolved pulmonary hypertension, and continued strength for Gabby's family and caregivers.
Everyone have a joyful, healthy, and prosperous New Year! May 2009 be splendid!!!
